This wonderful WildKind Interiors project was a staging hire model in Castleford, West Yorkshire. Unlike the traditional showhome model (whereby the client would buy everything to keep), I loaned a range of staging items (furniture, soft furnishings and accessories) for a one-year rental period.
Renting for 12 months is still more cost effective than buying all the goods outright, so if you've got a few properties to sell, or you're going to be on site for some time, it's worth speaking to me about how I can help with a discounted rate for longer term rentals.
The riverside house is big with lovely high ceilings, so I suggested upgrading wall art, lighting and window dressings. Windows are usually left bare (as you can't move window dressings around easily), but for this particular project we dressed the windows for more impact at a relatively small cost - and it was worth it!
What can I rent to stage my house for sale?
On a rental model like this one, I supply ceiling shades and other accessories that can be moved once the stage is over. Ordinarily, pictures and mirrors tend to be smaller so that they can be hung with picture pins (keeping wall damage to a minimum!), but for this longer-term rental, I supplied bespoke framed wall art plus oversize canvases to fill the space, in keeping with the impressive proportions of the house.
The client was thrilled with the result, and here's what they had to say...
"Having not used furniture rental before, we were a little uncertain as to what to expect, but we can honestly say that we are delighted with the outcome. Louise listened to what we were trying to achieve, then elevated it that little bit further. Her expertise is clear to see in the finish result, and her communication along the way was second to none.

This is a contemporary family home, so we selected modern furniture, clean lines and accents of soft colour to add warmth and interest. The walls had already been painted and grey carpets fitted, so I worked with the existing scheme to add colour and give a warmer, more homely feel.
Mission accomplished!
