Some of the best projects start with a conversation. Not a formal pitch, not a cold enquiry, but a genuine chat between people who share the same values.
I met Chris and Jo through Blue Bricks Magazine networking events, which I’ve proudly sponsored for several years. More than just a meet-up, it’s a genuine community where people share insight, challenge each other, and raise the bar.
What started as friendly chats at events turned into a working relationship built on trust, alignment, and mutual respect.
Crucially, they didn’t treat design as a last-minute afterthought. Instead, they brought me in early with a clear sense of who they were designing for and what the project needed to achieve commercially. That kind of mindset shift only happens when you’re in the right rooms with people who think strategically and act collaboratively.
For me, that’s the real value of community. When you’re surrounded by people who care about quality, understand the value of good design, and want to do things properly, the results speak for themselves.
You can see a quick video walkthrough from site here, taken part-way through their flip project.
And if you’re still wondering if staging really makes a difference, according to the Home Staging Association, staged properties can sell up to 50% faster than those left empty or unfinished.

If you’re planning a project and want someone on your team who’ll think commercially, creatively and strategically from day one, I’d love to chat. Just drop me a line and let’s see if we’re a good fit.
